RELYVO PRIVACY POLICY
RELYVO PRIVACY POLICY
Last Updated: September 6, 2026 Effective Date: September 6, 2026
INTRODUCTION AND OVERVIEW
Rai Enterprise ("we," "our," "us," or the "Company") develops and operates Relyvo ("Relyvo" or the "Application"), an off-grid, peer-to-peer mesh communication, live radar, and Push-To-Talk (PTT) radio platform designed for iOS.
We believe privacy is a fundamental human right. Relyvo was engineered from the ground up on a decentralized, privacy-by-design architecture. Whenever possible, your data remains stored locally on your device or is transmitted directly to nearby devices over local peer-to-peer wireless interfaces (Bluetooth Low Energy and peer-to-peer Wi-Fi) without passing through central servers, cloud databases, or third-party data brokers.
This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is processed on your device, how local peer-to-peer transmissions operate, how subscription processing is managed, and your rights regarding your information under the Apple App Store Review Guidelines, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (CCPA/CPRA), and other applicable global privacy regulations.
By downloading, installing, or using Relyvo, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
SUMMARY OF CORE PRIVACY PRINCIPLES
Zero Advertising and Zero Tracking: We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal data. We do not integrate third-party advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking brokers.
Decentralized Mesh Architecture: Chat messages, voice transmissions, and radar vectors operate primarily over local device-to-device connections (Apple MultipeerConnectivity and CoreBluetooth) without routing through a centralized messaging server.
On-Device Storage: Your conversations, transcripts, voice notes, and contact lists are stored locally in your device's sandboxed SwiftData database.
Explicit User Control: Sensitive sensors (Microphone, GPS Location, Bluetooth, Local Network) are activated only when explicitly authorized by you for specific communication features.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE PROCESS IT
A. User Profile & Identity Information
Broadcast Handle (Callsign): An alias or display name you configure (e.g., "Survivor_A1B2") to identify your device to other nearby mesh participants.
Local Node ID: A randomly generated UUID assigned locally to your device to route peer-to-peer messages and maintain sequence integrity.
Apple Sign-In Identity: If you sign in using "Sign in with Apple," we receive a unique, privacy-preserving identifier and, optionally, your name and private relay email address (@privaterelay.appleid.com) as provided by Apple.
B. Location Data (GPS, Compass Bearing, and Vectors)
How It Is Used: Relyvo uses CoreLocation to power the Mesh Radar, calculate relative distances/bearings to nearby peers, and attach emergency coordinates during distress broadcasts.
User-Initiated Sharing: Your location is never broadcasted passively or secretly. Coordinates are shared only when you: (i) Explicitly tap "Share My Location" in an offline direct message; (ii) Initiate "Relative Position Sharing" (which computes relative distance and heading without transmitting raw GPS coordinates); or (iii) Trigger an Emergency SOS distress beacon.
No Server Logging: We do not operate servers that log, track, or reconstruct your location history. All location math and compass bearing calculations occur locally on your hardware.
C. Audio and Microphone Recordings (Push-To-Talk)
How It Is Used: Relyvo accesses your device microphone solely when you press and hold the Push-To-Talk (PTT) dial in Walkie-Talkie mode.
Local Encoding & Streaming: Audio is captured, encoded in real time (Opus/PCM), and streamed directly to tuned-in mesh peers.
Voice Notes History: If you are subscribed to Relyvo Pro, incoming and outgoing voice notes may be stored in your local application sandbox for up to 30 days. You can purge all stored voice notes at any time from Settings.
D. Messages, Transcripts, and Channel Data
Peer-to-Peer Routing: Text messages, channel pings, and delivery acknowledgments (ACKs) are transmitted directly between local nodes via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth mesh relays.
Local Persistence: Messages are saved locally on your device via SwiftData. We do not host or operate a central database containing your message transcripts or communications.
E. Subscription and In-App Purchase Information
Payment Processing: All financial transactions, credit card data, and subscription billing are processed directly by Apple via StoreKit. We never see, receive, or store your payment card details.
Entitlement Verification via RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat (a third-party subscription infrastructure provider) to validate your active subscription status (e.g., "Relyvo Pro Annual" or "Relyvo Forever Lifetime"). An anonymous or Apple-authenticated identifier and transaction receipts are securely sent to RevenueCat to determine feature unlocking.
DEVICE PERMISSIONS REQUESTED AND PURPOSE
When using Relyvo, iOS may prompt you to grant specific permissions:
Bluetooth (NSBluetoothAlwaysUsageDescription): Used to discover nearby Relyvo nodes, establish mesh connections, and broadcast low-energy beacons when offline.
Local Network & Wi-Fi (NSLocalNetworkUsageDescription / NSBonjourServices): Used by Apple MultipeerConnectivity to stream high-bandwidth voice audio and peer-to-peer chat packets over local ad-hoc Wi-Fi without internet connectivity.
Microphone (NSMicrophoneUsageDescription): Required for half-duplex Walkie-Talkie Push-To-Talk (PTT) voice broadcasts.
Location Services (NSLocationWhenInUseUsageDescription): Required to display nearby nodes on the Mesh Radar, provide directional bearing vectors, and attach GPS coordinates to Emergency SOS alerts.
App Tracking Transparency (NSUserTrackingUsageDescription): Presented in compliance with Apple requirements to confirm that Relyvo does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS
We limit third-party integrations to the minimum required for core platform functionality:
Apple Inc. (Sign in with Apple, StoreKit, MultipeerConnectivity, CoreLocation): Provides operating system frameworks, identity authentication, and in-app purchase infrastructure. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).
RevenueCat, Inc. (Subscription & Receipt Validation): Validates in-app purchase receipts and entitlement states ("pro" tier). Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy (https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy/).
We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, behavioral profiling trackers, or advertising networks.
DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Local Device Storage: All messages, voice notes, channel subscriptions, and contact threads remain on your device until deleted by you or when the app is uninstalled.
Auto-Pruning: Local temporary audio files and store-and-forward message queues are automatically pruned after 7 to 30 days to conserve device storage.
User-Triggered Deletion: You can permanently erase all local databases, cached voice notes, and contact directories at any time by navigating to Settings -> Data Management -> "Delete All Local Data."
Account Deletion: If you authenticated using Sign in with Apple, you can revoke your Apple ID credential and purge all local identity records via Settings -> "Delete Account & Reset Identity."
SECURITY PRACTICES
Relyvo implements technical and operational safeguards:
HMAC-SHA256 Payload Integrity: Mesh packets and emergency envelopes are cryptographically signed using CryptoKit to protect against packet tampering and replay attacks.
Sandboxed Storage: Local databases utilize iOS Data Protection and are accessible only when the device is unlocked.
Strict Floor Arbitration: Walkie-Talkie audio transmissions enforce deterministic channel locks to prevent audio collision and eavesdropping on private sub-channels.
YOUR RIGHTS UNDER GDPR AND CCPA/CPRA
Depending on your jurisdiction (such as the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California), you may have specific statutory rights:
Right to Access / Data Portability: You can export your full message history, transcripts, and contact records in standard JSON format at any time using Settings -> "Export All Data."
Right to Erasure (Right to Be Forgotten): You can permanently purge all stored data via the in-app deletion tools.
Right to Rectification: You can modify your broadcast callsign and profile data directly in the app.
"Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information": We do not sell or share personal information as defined by California law (CCPA/CPRA).
Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY (COPPA & GLOBAL COMPLIANCE)
Relyvo is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children. If we become aware that personal information of a child has been collected, we will take immediate steps to delete that data.
EMERGENCY SOS AND SAFETY DISCLAIMER
Relyvo includes an Emergency Distress Beacon feature that transmits emergency status and location coordinates over local peer-to-peer wireless mesh networks.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Relyvo is not a replacement for traditional 911/112 emergency services, satellite emergency dispatch, or official search and rescue systems. Mesh broadcasts reach only nearby devices within wireless physical range (or relayed via multihop mesh participants). In life-threatening situations, always contact official government emergency responders whenever telephone or satellite connectivity is available.
